The Program of Health Institutions Management aims to educate professional health institution administrators equipped with necessary knowledge of modern sciences and skills to be implemented in the process of management of health institutions, being sensible to health systems and requirements at national and international levels, and to educate solution-oriented and quality-oriented professional administrators to make contributions to the field in question.


The Program educates quality manpower necessitated by a wide range of high-level and medium-level health institutions and corporations.


Consciousness of the necessity that health institutions be privatized or official institutions be governed with intellect of modern management grows the need for quality manpower in the field. Increasing health and social security costs due to aging population results in the preference for highly-competitive institutions offering the same quality of service for more reasonable charges. Considering the domestic demand as well as accelerating external demand in coming years, the profession of managing health institutions is to become one of the prestigious job of future.


Our country offering the similar service cheaper is on a favorable position. It is only possible through administrators, capable of effective management of health institutions, considering financial aspects and improving competence, to utilize the advantage and dynamism overseas health services are to bring.  


The curriculum of the program comprises liberal culture, professional knowledge in administration (management, economics, law), vocational knowledge of managing health institutions (management of health services, procurement and supply in health institutions, fiscal management of health institutions, cost accounting, managing human resources, procurement and supply, health economics, health planning, health policies, health legislation, marking in health institutions), and courses including professional practice.

Students are provided with internship opportunities by Training and Research Hospital of Gazi Osmanpaşa University, State Hospital of Erbaa and various state and private health institutions and hospitals.


Graduates of the program have the opportunity of working extremely wide range of areas and new employment fields. Educated manpower from this program is required by private and state sectors. Graduates of the program run administrative and governmental positions at health organizations. Health reforms in the world and Turkey, and tendency to health sectors suggest that graduates of Management of Health Institutions are to be gradually necessitated in increasing amounts.


Job opportunities of the graduates; Ministry of Health Central and Provincial Governance, state and private health corporations and institutions, insurance companies, social security institution, private and volunteer organizations offering health services, related areas of universities as lecturers, military health services, companies  of drug and medical consumables.

Students meeting the eligibility requirements have the opportunity to study in other universities for a certain period of time via student transfer programs like Erasmus and Farabi.
